Johan Brunel at Villa Medici

Johan Brunel has been selected to be a “pensionnaire” at the “académie de France à Rome”, as designer, for the year 2015/2016.

He will work on contemporary relations towards water in Roma, and question the heritage of the Dolce Vita and the luxuriance of the Roman fountains, in a world context of increasing lack of water.
