The designers of atelier [jes] are working on a large range of projects : they invent interactive devices, and they conceive and produce reliable products and furniture, with the care of confort, durability, aesthetic, and economy of resources and manufacture.
Johan Brunel has been selected to be a “pensionnaire” at the “académie de France à Rome”, as designer, for the year 2015/2016.
He will work on contemporary relations towards water in Roma, and question the heritage of the Dolce Vita and the luxuriance of the Roman fountains, in a world context of increasing lack of water.
For the 2015 edition of the exhibition Made in France Première Vision, Atelier [jes] has designed a suspended installation under the windows of the Carreau du Temple in Paris, based on clothing patronage shapes, to represent the territory richness and the various aspects of the fashion and textile culture in France.
Our project has been selected among more than 700 international projects to be one of the 12 finalists of the 2014 edition of this design competition. Prototypes will be shown during Designer’s Days Paris in May. Price results on May 22. Topic : Time to yourself.
